    Hi all-

In the beginning stages of installing the software/firmware onto an older Acer laptop (Aspire 6130, 64 bi, Graphics info says, “Mobile Intel GM45 Express Chipset” running Linux Ubuntu 16.04.

I successfully installed VRUI, got the spinning globe, runs smoothly.

Next step looks to be installing the Kinect software, from this page: https://arsandbox.ucdavis.edu/technical-resources/downloads/kinect/

I’m not sure which version to download. Seems like I should either find the one that is compatible with my version of VRUI (not sure how to determine this), the Kinect I have (1st generation, 1414), or maybe just the most recent one available on that site.

    Thanks for your help!

    Thank you!

I believe I have the latest VRUI installed (though, again, this is something I need to learn to check).
