When I work on any project, I keep backups at various stages. This way if a mess somethig up and can figure it out, I can go back a few stages and start from there rather than starting all over from scratch.

In this case, I realized a had loaded from one of my backup copies but it wasn’t pulling info from all the required files; causing the black and white issue. It was user error, nothing to do with the programming.

I was using the correct commands but I was launching the wrong copy. I had a backup copy (in case I screwed something up) which the program was trying to run. Once I had everything in the right place, everything worked as expected.

    Hello,

I built ours on a budget using pressure treated 2x4s. I have two 2x4s attached vertically to the long side of the sandbox with bolts and wingnuts. The projector is then screwed into a metal plate in between the two 2x4s at the top. I then have two short 2×4 sections extending out horizontally over top of the sand. These sections are attached to the vertical 2x4s using cheap shelf brackets. The camera is then zip-tied to a piece of wood and rests across these two horizontal sections.

The idea was to make this table portable on a cheap budget. Best I could do in the time and budget I had. I have noticed that the wood does warp a little depending on climate which requires the camera to be re-positioned slightly and the system needs to be re-calibrated.

    Hope this helps

Just to add, I am getting the “run out of time error”. Water does drop on the terrain but it is only at an elevation which then reads my hand as part of the topopgraphy.

I’m using a GTX 1070 card and linux 18 mate. The projector is the only display.

    Thanks again

Thank you for the reply, much appreciated.

We have not purchased a projector yet. We are not-for-profit so funds are limited. Would this be a better option? http://www.projectorcentral.com/BenQ-MW632ST.htm

Do you have any recommendations for short throw or 4:3 projectors?

Which calculator are you using to determine which projector would work?

    thanks again
