Tom, I had the same problem as you. I was trying to edit a boxlayout file that was in a different folder. And you quote the correct path. I need a lot of time to find the answer, a few days ago.

    What a mistake ๐Ÿ™

Now I have a shortcut to the correct file in the desktop and works fine. Don’t forget a copy to avoid any problem.

Hi, first of all… Thank you, Oliver!

I finished the sandbox in August 2015 with public funds and the support of a local consumer association. It’s a project that will be publicly exhibited in more of 15 places, mainly schools and cultural centers. The first one was in October, I include a link with pictures. Next week will be in a school and other cultural center, we have 2-3 different exhibitions every month. Also has been exhibited in Bilbao Maker Faire (nov-2015) with great success.

I’m a member of the Impact Hub Network, my node is in Donostia-San Sebastian. The full address is:

I have tested the pictures with several browsers and see them correctly in the computer and also with chrome for Android, but I can’t with Safari IOS for Ipad. It’s a mistery for me.

I post the images with img button, not the link button.

Anyway the link added above by INPTT is correct and has an album with pictures of the first public event here in San Sebastian. Here it is an article of the event in my web page, it’s written in spanish but has a left bar with translate tools:

arsandbox in San Sebastian, first exhibition

I print always in PLA and sometimes in laywood, assuming the resolution lines, nothing is perfect ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi, sekingen,

I don’t have any problem to see the pictures. I use the Chrome browser. Do you use Internet Explorer or Firefox? Perhaps could be the problem. I don’t know how to fix this problem, really.

Anyway, you could see the pictures in google plus or twitter if you like. Search for the hashtag #arsandbox and look for nicks “egokitek” or “VictorJBarahona”.

I want publish more pictures and need to know if you solve the problem. Give me some feedback, please.

    Thanks in advance,
    Victor

Hi, my name is Victor, I write from the Basque Country. I’m engineer, maker and practice permaculture in a farm with 4 acres. I discovered ARS one year ago and follow this forum since then. But login for first time in this week. The reason is I’ve made an ARS and have things to share about technical issues.

In my case , the frame has been fully made in wood. It has a normal projector (not a short throw) and I need adapt the frame to cope with this. I’ve used a mirror and goes well. I’ve designed and 3dprinted pieces with laywood to solve some issues (eg, to hold the mirror in place)

When I decided to make one my purpose was teach concepts about permaculture and water harvesting, keyline and so on, but it has so many applications… Fortunatelly I’m joined to other 3 people and created a talented and multidisciplinar team, we made a project and asked for public funds that have been approbed. In October will start a public exhibition in 5 schools and 4 cultural centers. One of them is the biggest in San Sebastian, a town with 200K inhabitants. We are very excited with this project, we will have the opportunity to raise awareness in environmental issues and tons of people will be reached.

Thanks a lot, David and all of you to make possible this amazing tool
